FLANDERS, N.J., Aug. 15 /PRNewswire/ — AERC.com, Inc. (AERC Recycling Solutions) has been chosen as the recycler of choice for Toshiba Business Systems for Eastern Pennsylvania’s Electronics Collection Event to be held in Allentown, Pennsylvania on August 22 and 23. This event will allow local residents to properly recycle unwanted electronics through a reputable recycler as well as support the Lehigh Valley’s Community Services for Children, a local resource for low-income children and their families. A portion of recycling fees collected by AERC and monies collected by any local vendors present at the event will be donated to the organization. The event is also supported by the Eastern Business Journal and Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation.

Eastern Pennsylvania Toshiba Business Solutions Electronics Recycling Event will be held on Friday, August 22 from 9AM - 3PM and Saturday, August 23 between the hours of 9AM and 12PM. This Electronics Recycling Event will be located at 1520 Hanover Avenue, Allentown, Pennsylvania. There will be a $2 fee collected for all recyclable electronic items and a $20 fee will apply for each television dropped off for recycling.
Acceptable materials include printers, scanners, CPUs, computer monitors, laptops, internal computer components, telephones, telecommunication equipment, cameras, radios, modems, pagers, VCRs, DVD players, hand held games and televisions. AERC maintains a Zero-Waste-to-Landfill Policy for all of electronics/ electrical recycling services. AERC also maintains a strict policy on all data storage devices. All devices will be wiped to the Department of Defense Standards and/or be physically destroyed. No information containing devices will leave any AERC facility.
